"We have the largest auditorium and the we have the largest population with church branch spanning different countries of the world, our pastor have 10 private jets, 5 higher institution and our prosperous preaching attracts rich people to our church ." Ekene boasted again. "Oga, dey calm down naah " Kelechi said to his friend, then he continued.. "all these things you listed are not the standard God approved." Kelechi said very calmly. "Okay, enlighten me about the standards " Ekene said waiting to disappoint Kelechi. "My church have few members but we have 10 hectares of farm land in every state of the federation where Agric graduates are given a jeep and jeans to manage a quarter of a farmland, so that foodstuffs could be subsidies you push down inflation, we give scholarships to children who are not well to do, we give health awareness to those who don't have it. We give hope to the common man also and right information to humanity . " "But guy, your church no be church oooo, na mission ground." Ekene said jokely. "But that is what church is meant to be ". Ekene agreed. "But wait oo, before our reverend began to preach, preachers were taken for granted but, he showed them that church can be very rich." Kelechi argued. "Guy, church have always been rich, look at the Catholic church, the Assemblies, the Seven day Adventist, the Methodist, they built the schools, hospital etc with mission effort and still have the largest auditorium way before your pastor came into limelight." Ekene said in disapproval. "That's true oo but what now happened." Kelechi asked amazed. " Church lost it's missionary zeal and God's standards where replaced to pastor's standard." Ekene said. "You don't mean it, how? Kelechi said awestruck. "The more excuse you allow outside the original standard, the more crowd you get" Ekene explained.. "Okay ahhh, hmmm" Kelechi exhaled...
